Committee of the Whole

The Committee of the Whole is reviewing service level overviews to inform the 2026 Budget. This meeting focuses on the RCMP service and budget overview and year-end presentations from various community service agreement partners.

Special Council

The Sooke District Council will formally recognize First Nations, approve the meeting agenda, and consider a motion to close the remainder of the meeting to the public under the Community Charter for labour‑relations discussion.

Regular Council

The council will adopt Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 927 to rezone Lot A, Section 72 (6579 Throup Road) from Large Lot Residential to Medium Density Multi‑Family 2 and add a conditional use for a Community Care Facility. It will also give first, second and third readings to Development Procedures Amendment Bylaw No. 933, appoint a new corporate officer, and approve funding for the Wounded Warrior Run and the Sooke Region Health Summit.
