Council approves Bridge Street design award and orders new plow truck
The council approved the Bridge Street design proposal and authorized Jewel Engineering to prepare the tender. It also approved the purchase of a 2026 Tandem Plow Truck, funded from reserves before the budget is passed. Resolutions were adopted requesting removal of GST/HST from new primary‑residence homes, opposing the southern route of the ALTO high‑speed rail project, and supporting a small‑northern residential property tax class. By‑law #1016/2026 to close and sell portions of Shore Road along Weslemkoon Lake was passed.
