April 14, 2026
The Council of the Corporation of the Municipality of Bluewater enacts as follows:
1. THAT the actions of the Council at its meeting on April 14, 2026 in respect to
each report, motion, resolution or other action passed and taken by the Council
at its meeting is hereby adopted, ratified and confirmed as if each resolution or
other action was adopted, ratified and confirmed by its separate by-law.

Council approves $459,900 contract and $482,853 budget boost for Salt/Sand storage
The Bluewater Council approved a contract with Van Pelt Construction for a new salt/sand storage structure at $459,900 (excluding HST) and increased the capital budget for the project to $482,853.03. The Council also reallocated funds from the Tuyll/Troy Street Drain Project reserve to cover the shortfall and adopted amendments to the Active Transportation Fund agreement and sidewalk funding. Additional approvals included a community garden license at 2 Jane Street, Bayfield, and a zoning by‑law amendment for Zurich‑Hensall Road.
