And I took a look at the situation myself and I thought, I agreed with them. It's a bit of a problem. You see, these people, they really can't see into the round about because there's a curve there. The people coming down from the roun …

Thank you. Okay, good morning everyone. And welcome to a public meeting for Elgin County on June 23 rd, 2026. I'd like to call the meeting to order. First item on the agenda is disclosure of pecuniary interest. None noted. We'll proceed right away then with the reports from staff. We have Ms. King with the Clovermean Official Plan Amendment. Welcome. Good morning. Okay, good morning, Warden, members of Council and members of the public. My name is Lindsay King and I'm a policy planner here at El gin County. And I'm here today to provide a presentation on the Clover mean Adventure Farm, which is an official plan amendment as part of the public meeting today. So I'll provide an overview of the application. I will review the relevant policy and then I will provide staff's recommendation at present. So the subject lands are located on Imperial Road, which is in the township of Malahide. It's just about two kilometers north of Elmer. The site is approximately 22 hectares. Important for the policy analysis is that the province generally defines the agricultural areas, or the rural areas rather, in Elgin County as prime agricultural areas, including this property. And then Clovermean is a long established farming and agrit ourism operation that I'm sure many of you are aware of, spanning back to the late 70s, which has grown increment ally since then. …
