Call to Order The Chair called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. 2. Territorial Acknowledgement The Chair opened the meeting with the territorial acknowledgement statement. In the spirit of reconciliation, we acknowledge with respect, the history and living culture of the Anishinaabek: The People of the Three Fires known as Ojibway, Odawa, and Pottawatomi Nation, who have inhabited this land from time immemorial. We recognize that these lands are the territories of the Chippewas of Saugeen and the Chippewas of Nawash, collectively known as the Saugeen Ojibway Nation, the keepers of this land. Georgian Bluffs is located on lands encompassed by Treaties 45 ½ , 67, 72, 82 and 93. We reflect on our role as Treaty People and, the need to live in respect and peace and show respect to the first peoples who inhabit these lands and waters. 2 3. Council to approve $56,081.90 contract for Johnson Municipal Drain maintenance

The Township of Georgian Bluffs Council will consider several items, including the award of a $56,081.90 contract to Rice Construction Contracting Inc. for maintenance of the Johnson Municipal Drain. The Council will also vote on a Zoning By-law amendment (By‑Law 2026‑010) for the Treurniet property and adopt a draft Corporate Sponsorship and Advertising Policy. Additional decisions include supporting a green burial feasibility study for Mount Pleasant Cemetery and amending the short‑term accommodation licensing program.

Grey Bruce OPP Detachment Board

Board approves $15,000 budget increase and new remuneration for First Nations appointees

The Grey Bruce OPP Detachment Board will approve the agenda, minutes and receive the 2025 year‑end reports. It will amend the Board Remuneration Policy to add per diems, mileage and training allowances for First Nations appointees and raise municipal contributions to $15,000 for 2026.
