So what is the benefit after you take out the benefit to new development that existing users will have to pay for? Just in context and I believe Council has seen this calculation probably before when the CACs were introduced that the 2026 D …

gathered here today on the traditional lands of the Kwetsin people with the quorum being present. I'd like to call this committee meeting to order. Our first item of business is approval of the agenda. I would like to add an item under new business. It's for information only. It's with regards to our advocacy to the province around homelessness, street disorder, and the toxic drug crisis. So again, just for information, but wanted to share something with council. So I'll turn to corporate officers. Item 6.2, would it be? All right. Okay. Would someone like to move that we adopt the agenda as amended? Moved by Councillor Finley, seconded by Councillor Calliou. Any discussion? I'll call the question. All in favour? None opposed? None opposed. Motion carries. We 'll now turn to the minutes from the February 24th, 2026, and May 12th, 2026 meetings. Would someone like to move that these be adopted as circulated? Moved by Councillor Calliou, seconded by Councillor Justice. Any discussion? I'll call the question. All in favour? And opposed? None opposed? Motion carries. I'm going to turn to public input. We don't have any speakers signed up for this portion of the meeting. So we're going to now move on to staff reports. The first one we have before us, I'm going to turn to Mr. Swaby to introduce that. Item 5.1. Thank you. Mr. Mayor, there were some questions raised out of a recent conference that council had gone to about AI, and I thought it would be a good time to have our staff c …
