Regular Council Meeting

Economic Development Advisory Committee
This meeting covers only routine administrative business for the Economic Development Advisory Committee. Members will approve the current agenda and adopt minutes from April 2025. The Senior Manager of Partnerships and Innovations will deliver an annual orientation, followed by a roundtable discussion for member updates. No zoning changes, contracts, or policy votes are scheduled.

Tourism Commission
The Tourism Commission will adopt the agenda and minutes from the previous meeting. They will then receive presentations on the new Official Community Plan and the 2026 June Marketing Update.

Regular Council Meeting
Council approved a comprehensive transit fare review, implementing DayPASS and fare capping, new local and regional fare structures, and free transit for youth aged 13-18 on local and select regional routes. The Airport Taxiway Charlie project was cancelled, releasing $1.4M, and refined recreation fees were approved including a 30% non-resident premium. Numerous discretionary and community event partnership grants were approved.
