Council to approve $2,500 Gold sponsorship for DFM Resident Retreat
The Committee of the Whole will consider council indemnities and a delegation update on the WSP PR215 functional design. It will review a sponsorship request from the Beausejour Otter’s Swim Club with four contribution levels, and discuss the upcoming MARR Spring Tour in Portage La Prairie on May 28, 2026. The meeting also includes a Haystack Productions dress rehearsal invitation, a public liaison committee meeting in Pinawa, and resolutions to fund the Rural Interest Group and Rural Week ($65‑$75 per student) and to sponsor the University of Manitoba Family Medicine Resident Retreat at the Gold level ($2,500).

competitive swim team for youth ages 7–17 that proudly represents our community in
Swim Manitoba’s Summer Grand Prix League. Each summer, our swimmers train
multiple times per week at the Beausejour Splash Pool and travel throughout Manitoba
