Thank you. into the community priorities for 2027. The town has worked to improve the way that the town communicates with the public with the aim of ensuring that information is shared often and is clear and concise. The survey showed that residents generally feel informed and satisfied with the town's communications which is also in alignment with feedback that administration has received from residents throughout the year as well. As with anything there is always an opportunity to strengthen transparency and administration is committed to doing so in the future. Social media as well as utility bill inserts do remain the most preferred method of communication by our residents. In reviewing what is important to the community for priorities, the community was consistent on wanting to see the town focus on expansion of residential housing units, maintaining transportation infrastructure, and business attraction and retention. It is important for the town to provide ongoing maintenance and necessary improvements and repairs to town facilities throughout the life of the asset. This is important to maintain the asset and extend its life. As infrastructure ages, capital expenditures are required to ensure that our facilities remain safe, functional, and capable of meeting our future needs. When asked which facilities the public would like to see the town focus improvements on or possible expansions if required, the arena stadium was the top choice, very closely followed by the fire …

Thank you. What would be council's preference? It's 6 o'clock now. Do you want her to start it right at 6 or 5 if I'm on the screen? Or just, yeah. Okay. It's 6 o'clock. Are we on? Okay. We'll call the meeting to order at 6 p.m. And I'll ask, is there any additional items to the agenda? Yes. We have one addition to the agenda, and that would be the airport runway crack ceiling and pavement marking award recommendation. Due to the nature of the project and the timing of our next council meeting being August 18th, we do need a council decision as it is time sensitive. So we would ask that council approve the agenda with this amendment. Perfect. And it's in there as 7.4 already. Any other amendments or additions? Can I get somebody to motion to accept the agenda as amended? Deputy Mayor Martin. I move that for the council for the town of Vermilion approve the agenda as amended. All in favor? Carried. Thank you. And we will move on to adoption of the previous minutes. 4.1, regular council meeting minutes for June 23rd, 2026. Go ahead. Just for council's information, because we recessed the June 23rd CAO performance evaluation, we did have a mix-up with the motion numbers on the agenda. So we would ask that council approve the minutes as amended , and we'll change those motion numbers. The order of the motion numbers just got mixed up because of that recess. Okay. Perfect. Is there any other amendments? Councilor Mcduff? I'm just trying to find it. I'll just come back out. There w …
