Very well. If there's no further questions of Mr. Cocomela and there's no one waiting to address the committee, we'll take the matte …

And at one point, I was actually one of his constituents living in Ward 5. He cared about a lot of things that I shared. So, green space, transit, affordable housing, food security . But I also, playing trivia one night with him, I learned that he was really good at trivia, especially Star Trek trivia. So, I was like, I had, it was great. He was on my team, thankfully. So, but I want to say that he was just a g …

Thank you. It's located and it's a corner lot on the southwest corner of William Street and George Street. It's a square-shaped lot with an area of 1,019 square meters and an identical frontage and depth of 31.8 meters. The site currently consists an existing residential heritage dwelling, originally constructed in 1922, as well as a detached wood- framed garage, which is accessed from George Street. The dwelling features a deck, which leads to the rear yard, as well as a balcony access from the second story of the building, which faces George Street. I'll note that a pre-consultation meeting for the site was held with staff originally on July of 2024, and my client has worked over the last two years to get to this stage. And I will note as well, my client's an existing resident within the Heritage Conservation District in this neighborhood who is seeking to revitalize this existing dwelling and develop the underutil ized lands specifically to the west of the dwelling with the new proposed dwelling as well. Next slide, please. Next slide, please. So just briefly, the subject site is located within the Old Oakville Heritage Conservation District. This was established originally in 1981, and it's the town's first designated district. It features adverse architectural styles, including 19th century Georgian, neoclassical, Victorian, and classical revival architectural styles. The Old Oakville Heritage Conservation District, it encompasses primarily low density scale and heights …

Thank you. Good evening. Thank you. Thank you, Mr. Thank you. imbalances. By contrast, Appendix A would eliminate the current requirement for prior approval and replace it with a simple notification to the Director before the tow is authorized. Oversight would occur primarily through audits and complaints after the fact. For someone whose vehicle has already been towed, an audit days or weeks later provides little practical protection. Once a vehicle has been removed, the owner has already suffered the inconvenience, disruption, and financial costs associated with retrieving the vehicle. Pre venting an improper tow is far better than discovering one after it has happened. For these reasons, Option 1 meets the true intention of the original bylaw 2024-187. I referenced this bylaw in my June delegation. I also appreciate that staff has identified the operational impacts associated with Appendix B. There will undoubtedly be additional demands on public compliance officers. However, public confidence in the enforcement should remain the primary consideration. When residents and visitors know that an independent tow officer and not a private enforcement company must verify that a tow is justified, confidence in the fairness and integrity of the process increases. Next slide, please. And finally, strong enforcement and procedural fairness are not competing goals. They are complimentary. Property owners retain the ability to address unauthorized parking while motorists receive reaso …

Thank you. pop ups, we have a survey out in the field. So there's a lot, a lot of rich discussion going on. And so with that, I will stop talking and we'll turn it over to you folks in a moment. So we always like to start with an icebreaker, an on theme ice breaker to sort of start the gears going. So I'm going to do is ask everyone to introduce yourself with your name, how long you've been on the board and then to share a favorite OPL memory. So I'm sharing that so you can kind of like start percolating on it. And I just want to double check just so I can like manage the zoom flow, which is always a bit awkward. We don't have any board members participating from Campbell Chambers. Is that right? That's right. Okay, great. So we don't want to kind of call on on that thumbnail. So we definitely want to hear from everybody. We'll kind of open it up whoever wants to jump in first. But if it takes too long, we'll do that awkward thing where just start calling on people from the order that they appear on my screen. Rebecca, thank you for starting us off. No problem. I think my favorite memory of OPL public library was Saturday morning reading time with my kids. Going into Central Storytime was like a totally interactive experience. There were bubbles, there was always like things to do. And they just like really loved it there. So thank you. And how long you've been on the board, Rebecca? Going into our third year. I think. Okay. I don't know. Something like that. Something like t …

Thank you. So, yeah, I'm happy to say, Thank you. Yes, yes, I'm sorry. for those two, you know, for Central, you know, for you, I'm so, you know, for central, but we're looking at, you know, I was just wondering, the community foundation funds, there was a quarterly loss on the gross investment earnings. It's not a large amount, but I was just wondering. That was through March. I was just wondering if you've heard of any other sort of ongoing loss issues with that investment? No, I haven't. And I was what, you know, so there's the community foundation is, you know, reporting the reason why there's a loss. And I was wondering if it might be helpful in the future to have that indexed against, you know, the market. Is the market experiencing that same loss? Is this typical in the market versus just maybe taking the word of the investment manager that this is down? You know, i …
