Pursuant to section 127(4) of the Community Charter and section 22(6) of the District of Tofino
Meeting Procedure Bylaw No. 1229, 2016, as amended, the January 23, 2026 special Council
meeting is being held following a unanimous resolution of Council passed at the January 20, 2026
closed session Council meeting, to waive the 24 hour notice requirement.
